I saw these last night (or earlier? I forget) and the Dean photo drove me nuts because the exposure was so wacky.  So I was playing with it last night.  It's been awhile since I've been in Photoshop.  I miss it.

I struggled so much to do justice to this photo.   And I'm still not totally happy with the outcome.  As I was trying to figure out just why I was struggling, I realized.  Part of my problem is that the photo just feels to damn intimate.
